About the Event
Her Voice Her Story in STEM is free one-day event is designed to equip students and community members with practical tips for navigating various paths in STEM fields.
As research has demonstrated, minority groups are significantly underrepresented in STEM, and many minority students opt to leave STEM careers due to academic rigor and lack of representation. Therefore, we aim to ensure that students and community members interested in STEM are well-informed and equipped to navigate this demanding yet rewarding field.
The conference welcomes participation from university, community college, and high school students, as well as men.
Registration begins at 9:30am. The event will begin promptly at 10am.
This event is in collaboration with Durham Tech Life Sciences.
